Managing your classes

Once you've setup your classes and signed up your students, you can use the Teacher's Assistant to track your students' progress as they use Banzai. Because you can view all of your students through a single interface, grading is quick and simple.

 

 

Click on a class' name to expand the window and view a list of students. The number in parentheses to the right of the student's name shows the number of transactions he has entered. You can view transaction details by clicking his name. Note that the date shown for each transaction is the date that the student entered the data into Banzai, rather than the transaction date. Account and jar entries are shown to the right of the transaction title.

Note: You will not see transaction details if you have enabled enhanced privacy.

You may rename any class by clicking Rename or erase it by clicking Delete. Deleting a class does not have any impact on the student accounts within the class, it simply removes it from your class list.

If a student forgets his password, you can reset it by clicking the Reset Password link which appears to the right of his name. This will temporarily set his password to password1. He will be prompted to choose a new password the next time he logs in. You can remove a student from the class by clicking Remove. Note that removing a student will not close her account.
