When students access Banzai for the first time, they are prompted to setup their jars and accounts. As instructed in the handout, they should create the following accounts:
Students will then create the following jars:
This will leave 50.00 left over for savings. If you wish, you may have students follow along as you demonstrate setting up your own Banzai account. (Login to the system and click on the Money tab.)
Each scenario specifies one or more income, expense, or transfer transactions for entry into Banzai. Transactions should be entered in order, but you need not enter all of them if you lack the instructional time to cover the entire sequence.
You can track your students' progress using the Teacher's Assistant. Refer to the Detailed Scenario Guide as a reference covering each item in detail.
The scenarios include two optional opportunities for students to balance their checking accounts. If you do not wish to cover account reconciliation, these scenarios may be skipped without influencing the narrative.

Students enter the reconciliation interface by clicking the Reconcile tab at the top of the screen. They check off transactions until the reconciled balance equals the balance shown on the bank statement. Reference the Detailed Scenario Guide for additional information on the reconciliation scenarios.
